How we write and check our guides.
Swirl's public guides are written by the Swirl team, tested against the live product, dated on every page, and corrected when something changes. We do not invent reviews, rankings, or numbers.
The short version: if we cannot show it on the page, we do not say it.
Who writes this
The guides are written and edited by the Swirl team. We use the product, read the official pages of the tools we mention, and update the date when something material changes. We do not use fake author names or invented credentials.
How we test
For product claims, we check the live app: the memory settings, the connector list, the pricing page, and the export and deletion flows. For competitor claims, we read the competitor's official pricing or help page and link to it. If a price or feature changes after we publish, the guide is wrong until we update it; the date at the top tells you when we last checked.
Prices and comparisons
We quote the price that is live at the time of writing and say when it was checked. We do not use a crossed-out price that was never charged, and we do not invent a discount. When we compare products, we say who each one is for, including the cases where a competitor is the better choice.
What we do not do
- No fake reviews, ratings, or user counts.
- No paid placement disguised as a ranking.
- No "best" claim without a stated criterion.
- No private user data in a public example.
- No advice that replaces a doctor, lawyer, or accountant.
Corrections
If something is wrong, email hello@swirlai.app with the page and the correction. We fix the page and update the date. If the correction changes the conclusion, we say so in the page rather than quietly editing it.
