How shared links work

A shared link is a read-only copy of a chat, document, or visualization. Anyone with the link can open it. You can revoke the link at any time from the share menu.

What the link exposes

The content you chose to share, and the title. It does not expose your other chats, your memory, or your account settings. A document share is a snapshot of that document, not a live editor.

Revoke a link

Open the item, choose Share, and turn the link off. The old URL stops working. If the content was copied elsewhere before you revoked it, revoking cannot reach that copy.

What not to share

  • Anything with a password, a key, or a customer record.
  • A chat that contains someone else's personal data.
  • A document you do not have the right to publish.
